Founded by Alexander John Matchett in 1953, AJM Speciality Packaging is still a family-run business offering quality, hand-made display packaging at a competitive price. Conveniently located in Marrickville, Sydney, our focus is on making beautiful boxes for all the artisans around Australia making beautiful products, from candles to chocolates. Every product looks better when presented in the correctly sized packaging, and they make storage and display so much easier. 

We only work in Clear Rigid PVC with a thickness of 0.25mm (thicker PVC available on request for larger sizes). PVC is one of the most commonly recycled plastics as it can be fully reused up to 8 times without losing any of its properties. All of the scrap that we produce during the manufacturing process is returned to a specialist PVC recycler for making into new material.



Time is always pressing when running a small business, which is why we always try and fulfil orders within 7 – 10 days – and can turn them around faster if you have an urgent deadline to meet. Of course at the busiest times of year, namely Christmas and Easter, lead times can be extended and we recommend placing your Xmas / Easter orders as early as possible.
